Fossil Works Projects began as a label for the discovery of design, manufacture and fabrication skills, creating innovative designs such as the Shrike Airsoft Bow, with the first UK Registered Design Rights certified in August 2017. 
Upon joining the army on the Defence Technical Officer & Engineer Scheme in 2016, these skills were leveraged and refined for a variety of award winning defence projects, eventually winning the DE&S Prize for technical Innovation in 2018. The design and photography elements of the portfolio were then employed by the British Army to run several regional media and recruitment campaigns to lead a new generation of marketing in the post-Covid-19 era, in part leading to receiving the Lord Mayor of London's prize, and a formal commendation from the Commandant of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2022. 
After leaving the army due to injury, services were turned towards civilian markets, with the portfolio of military action, sporting and events photography directly transferrable to almost all environments. We now have recurring business with a variety of clients, from national events organisers, to local universities and clubs, and the business is looking to expand. 
The founder now sits as the Senior Engineering Leader for Business Engineering at TfL, leading a team of highly skilled senior engineers specialising in the convergence of engineering principles, creative optioneering and an eye for efficiency, highlighting the continued application of the skills that make the foundation of Fossil Works Projects in all professional environments.
